Seamless pipe is a steel pipe without a single weld along its entire length, manufactured by rolling, forging, drawing or pressing.
Cracks, captivity, flaws, sunsets and delaminations are not allowed on the surface of the pipes.
Separate minor nicks, dents, risks, a thin layer of scale, traces of cleaning of defects and small films are allowed, if they do not bring the wall thickness beyond the minus deviations, but not more than 2.0 mm. The ends of the pipes must be cut at a right angle, while chamfering is allowed at an angle of at least 70 degrees to the axis of the pipe. Pipe ends must be deburred.
